The hotel opened in 2013 on Tjuvholmen, a former 18th-century prison island that housed criminals and marked the beginning of Oslo's maritime transformation.
The property exhibits artworks from the adjacent Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, including pieces by Andy Warhol and Charles Ray in rooms and public spaces.
The hotel provides boat services for fjord exploration, conference facilities for business travelers, and maintains a restaurant serving local organic dishes.
