Fort Clayton, Historic military fort in Panama
Fort Clayton was a former United States Army base.
It was operational from 1914, following the opening of the Panama Canal.
The fort played a significant role during World War II as a defense installation.
Currently, the area is transitioning to become a residential and commercial district.
Fort Clayton is now part of the City of Knowledge, an international complex for education and research.
