The Kirche Maria Roggendorf features detailed architectural elements, including a high altar crafted by Andreas Rudroff and a Byzantine-style painting of Mary in a Baroque frame.
Between 1651 and 1653, architect Cypriano Biasino constructed the church, which suffered significant damage from a fire in 1695, leading to reconstruction by Carlo Antonio Carlone.
The church maintains regular pilgrimages that began in 1924, with special celebrations during the Birth of Mary feast on September 8th each year.
