Park of Woluwe, Protected heritage park in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Auderghem, Belgium.
The Park of Woluwe encompasses 69 hectares of rolling landscapes with winding paths, three ponds, and extensive green areas between Boulevard du Souverain and Avenue de Tervueren.
King Leopold II initiated the park's creation in the late 19th century to enhance the appeal of Avenue de Tervueren for the 1897 World Exposition in Brussels.
The park hosts the Rock the City festival since 2005, providing a platform for emerging Belgian musicians to perform in an outdoor setting.
Visitors can access numerous recreational facilities including playgrounds, sports fields, walking trails, and dedicated areas for picnicking throughout the park's grounds.
The park contains 180 different tree species, including giant sequoias and specimens recognized by Dendrology Belgium for their botanical significance.
