He raised 50,000 taels of silver to fund the construction of the temple. During the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong expanded the temple, making it the grand complex that it is today. Architecture: The temple covers an area of 40,000 square meters and consists of more than 100 buildings, including the main hall, scripture hall, bell tower, drum tower, and living quarters for monks. The main hall is the most important building in the temple, housing a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha and other important figures in Tibetan Buddhism. The scripture hall contains a large collection of Buddhist scriptures and is used for chanting and meditation. The bell tower and drum tower were used to signal the start and end of daily activities in the temple. Culture: Zhungeer Temple is a center of Tibetan Buddhist culture in the region.
