The Duge Bridge, or the Beipanjiang Bridge as locally known, is a cable-stayed bridge nestled within the rugged mountains of China.
Inaugurated on December 29, 2016, it holds the record for the world's highest bridge.
Located in the Guizhou province, it plays a vital role in connecting two of China’s underprivileged areas, greatly contributing to local socio-economic development.
The bridge spans over the Beipan River and connects the cities of Qujing and Liupanshui.
This engineering marvel sits 565 meters above the Beipan River, making it the bridge with the highest deck in the world.
