Built between 1728 and 1730, this palace served as Erlangen's city hall from 1836 to 1971, marking a central point of municipal administration.
The palace contains the Erlangen City Library and Kunstpalais, offering exhibitions, literature resources, and art collections to the local community.
Visitors can access the palace Monday through Friday until 6:30 PM, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 8:00 PM and weekends from 10:00 AM.
The central portal displays a basket-arch door with ionian columns and includes ornamental vases and coats of arms in the broken pediment.
