Arènes de Lutèce, Roman amphitheater in Paris

The Arènes de Lutèce is one of the most important remains from the Gallo-Roman era in Paris.

Constructed in the 1st century AD, this amphitheater could once seat 15,000 people.

Today, it's a public park and a popular spot for pétanque players.

Located in the Latin Quarter, it's accessible via the Place Monge metro station.

It's considered the longest Roman amphitheater ever built.
