Rashtrapati Bhavan, Presidential residence in India

Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official home of the President of India, located at the Western end of Rajpath in New Delhi.

The construction of Rashtrapati Bhavan was completed in 1929 and it was originally built as the residence for the Viceroy of India during the British rule.

It consists of 340 rooms, including a Durbar Hall for official ceremonies and a Mughal Garden open to the public in spring.

Rashtrapati Bhavan is considered one of the largest residences of a head of state in the world.
