Terramara's archaeologic park and museum of Montale

The 23,000-square-meter park contains reconstructions of Bronze Age dwellings, complete with authentic furnishings and detailed exhibitions of daily prehistoric tools.

Established in 2004, this archaeological site preserves remains of the Terramara settlement from the second millennium BC, featuring pile dwellings within fortified earthworks.

The museum exhibits artifacts and discoveries from excavations, presenting the techniques and customs of ancient inhabitants through interactive displays and educational programs.

The facility maintains wheelchair accessibility throughout its premises and offers guided tours, workshops, and educational activities for school groups during weekdays.

Two full-scale houses demonstrate Bronze Age construction methods, incorporating protective ditches and wooden foundations characteristic of northern Italian settlements.
