Petra, Ancient city in Jordan
Petra is a historical and archaeological city famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system.
Established as early as 312 BC as the capital city of the Nabataeans, Petra has stood the test of time.
Culturally rich, Petra is filled with tombs, temples, theatres and other cultural elements of ancient Nabatean culture.
It's open to public for visitation and is one of the most visited tourist places in Jordan.
It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as 'a rose-red city half as old as time'.
