The single track station features a traditional Dutch railway architecture with a side facade at its corner location and a veranda with large canopy.
Opened on June 27, 1898, the station became a key point on the Den Dolder-Baarn railway line, connecting regional communities through rail transportation.
The station building holds Rijksmonument status, representing the preservation of Dutch railway heritage from the late nineteenth century construction period.
Trains depart twice per hour toward Utrecht, while bus line 74 provides additional connections to Soest Zuid, Smitsveen, and Soest Noord areas.
A dedicated canopy above the platform served as the Royal Lodge, accommodating members of the Dutch Royal Family during their railway journeys.
