The stadium received its current name Jaskółcze Gniazdo in 2011, seven years after being officially designated as the Municipal Stadium of Tarnów.
This multi-purpose venue serves as the primary location for speedway racing events in Tarnów, hosting matches of the local team Unia Tarnów.
Located on Zbylitowska Street in the western part of Tarnów, the stadium maintains a regulation speedway track measuring 392 meters in length.
The facility recorded its highest attendance of 25,000 spectators during a 2004 speedway match between Unia Tarnów and Atlas Wrocław.
