Old Tjikko, Oldest tree in Sweden

Old Tjikko is a 9,550-year-old Norway Spruce, located on Fulufjället Mountain of Dalarna province in Sweden.

Discovered in 2004 by Professor Leif Kullman, Old Tjikko has been named after his dog.

The tree is considered a symbol of resilience and survival.

Visitors can see the tree while hiking in the Fulufjället National Park.

Despite its age, Old Tjikko is relatively small and measures only about 5 meters high.
