Troy VII, also known as Late Bronze Age Troy, is one of the last phases of the ancient city of Troy.
It was inhabited from around 1300 BC until the alleged sack of Troy by the Greeks around 1180 BC.
The settlement has profound cultural significance, reflecting its illustrious position in the tales of Greek mythology.
The site can be visited today and operates as an archaeological park.
Troy VII is considered by many to be the likely historical counterpart to legendary Homeric Troy.
