Ringkogel, Mountain peak in Hartberg, Austria
Ringkogel is a mountain near Hartberg that rises to around 790 meters above sea level. It forms part of the Masenberg massif in eastern Styria, with steep southern slopes and a gentler western approach where most hikers ascend.
Humans first settled on this mountain during the Neolithic period thousands of years ago. Celtic people later built fortified structures here, and the mountain's name comes from these ancient Celtic defenses.

Several hiking trails lead to the summit, with the shortest route starting from the western parking area at Spielstätte. The path is well marked throughout and takes roughly two hours to complete at a moderate pace.
The summit once held a stone observation tower built in 1906 that still impresses visitors today. Standing 30 meters tall, it offers sweeping views across eastern Styria from its platform at the peak.
