Martin-Luther-Kirche

The Martin Luther Church features a modern design with curved steel plates, three expansive skylights, and a prominent bell tower in the forecourt.

The current church building, completed in 2011, replaced a predecessor structure that existed until the 17th century on the same location.

The church includes a sanctuary, community hall with folding doors, and a glass-covered children's area near the baptistery for congregation gatherings.

The building connects through a ramp to a garden on higher ground and contains auxiliary rooms including a sacristy, pastor's office, and kitchen.

The entire 23-ton roofing structure was manufactured in a Baltic Sea shipyard using metal-processing technologies typically employed in shipbuilding.
