Cselleymühle Oslip, Heritage mill in Oslip, Austria
Cselley Mill is a heritage mill in Austria that functions today as a cultural center with residential spaces, artist apartments, and gallery areas. The building spans multiple levels and combines accommodation sections with exhibition spaces and event venues.
The structure was built around 300 years ago as a working mill and was transformed into a cultural center following comprehensive restoration in 2021. The rebuild, overseen by Mario and Ulrike Müller, preserved the historic structure while enabling a new purpose.
The site houses an art museum displaying contemporary works in the restored spaces and attracts artists who create and exhibit here. It has become a gathering place for creative people drawn to the distinctive character of the location.
The grounds feature a restaurant and cafe area serving regional dishes, open on most days in the afternoon and evening. Visitors should note that opening hours vary between weekdays and weekends, and booking ahead for events is recommended.
The property regularly hosts concerts, theatrical performances, and exhibitions using its event hall throughout the year. This variety of cultural programming makes each visit different depending on what happens to be on during your visit.
