The hike from Siegesbach takes approximately 1.25 hours covering 1.8 kilometers, with the Sonnsteinhütte mountain hut open from Easter to October on weekends and holidays, providing refreshments and rest facilities for hikers equipped with sturdy footwear and appropriate gear.
