Rumliova

Rumliova is a public park in Hrodna featuring broad grassy areas and mature tree coverage, particularly elms and oaks that form dense woodland sections. The grounds include several walking paths, seating areas, and a marked health trail that runs throughout the property.

The park originated from a private forest owned by a pharmacist in the early 19th century, whose name was later adopted for the entire property. The wooded areas were initially used for cultivating medicinal plants before being opened to the public as a recreational space.

The park serves as a gathering place where locals enjoy outdoor activities and community events throughout the year. People use the shaded paths for daily recreation and celebrate seasonal occasions in its open areas.

The park is best explored on foot using the marked trails, which are suitable for visitors of different fitness levels. Visitors should wear appropriate footwear, especially after rain, as the paths traverse wooded terrain.

Some of the oldest oak trees in the park are over 150 years old and function as natural monuments within the forest landscape. These trees form an impressive leafy canopy above the pathways and provide deep shade on warm days.
