The Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática occupies a three-module building with 46,705 square meters of classrooms, laboratories, and offices at University of Málaga.
The institution began operations in 1988 following increasing demand from technology companies and support from the Technical Industrial Engineering School director José María Alonso.
The Computer History Museum, established in 2007 within the school, displays an extensive collection of hardware components and documentation illustrating computing evolution.
Students gain access to a specialized library containing over 18,000 books and 421 journal titles spread across two floors with multiple study stations.
Since 2011, the school offers a joint degree in Health Engineering with the University of Seville and introduced a dual degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics in 2019.
