Sant Quirze de Colera monastery

The monastery exhibits stone construction with three apses attached to the transept and features rounded interior arches throughout its structure.

Founded in the late 8th century and inaugurated in 935, the monastery underwent fortification in the 14th century with defense towers and ramparts.

The monastery contains preserved wall paintings in the south apse depicting angels, the sun, and moon within a mandorla design.

The monastery stands 6 kilometers from Rabós town center, with access routes available for both pedestrians and vehicles.

The primitive 10th-century cloister section maintains its original openings and connects to chambers that served as the refectory and Abbot's Palace.
