Torrassa del Moro

The cylindrical stone tower stands 12.6 meters tall with granite blocks forming walls that measure 2 meters in thickness at the base.

Originally constructed during Roman times, the tower received medieval additions with smaller granite stones placed above the initial nine rows of Roman masonry.

The structure earned recognition as a Cultural Asset of National Interest, representing the architectural methods of both Roman and medieval Spanish periods.

Located at 416 meters elevation, visitors can access the tower through hiking trails that connect to the main pathways of Llinars del Vallès.

During the 1890s, hunter Joan Teixidó transformed the ancient watchtower into a hunting pavilion by adding two floors with a kitchen and dining room.
