Emperor's Rooms, Palace chambers in Spain
The Emperor's Rooms are part of the Alhambra, a grand palace and fortress complex.
The rooms were constructed by Emperor Charles V after his marriage to Isabella of Portugal.
Although stark in appearance, they reflect the Renaissance architectural ideals of the period.
The chambers are situated within the Alhambra's Nasrid Palaces sector.
Unlike other parts of the Alhambra, these rooms showcase a blend of Spanish and Mudejar styles.
