Hôtel Lambert is a hôtel particulier, a grand mansion townhouse, on the Quai Anjou on the eastern tip of the Île Saint-Louis, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris.
Built between 1640 and 1644, it was initially the residence of the financier Jean-Baptiste Lambert and was subsequently owned by the Marquis de Lauzun and the Rothschild family.
The Hôtel Lambert has been listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1862.
It's not open to the public, but you can admire its beautiful facade from the outside.
The mansion is known for its famous residents and guests, including Voltaire and Chopin.
