Gare de Versailles-Chantiers, Railway station in Versailles, France
The station features four central platforms serving eight tracks, with a curved facade adorned with classical pilasters and cornices designed by André Ventre.
Inaugurated in July 1849, the station underwent reconstruction in 1923, taking its name from the stone workshops that supplied materials for Versailles Palace.
The station's facade, roofs, platforms, clock pavilion, waiting room, passenger hall, and gallery received historical monument status in April 1998.
The station connects to Paris through Transilien lines C, N, and U, serving regional trains across Centre, Loire Valley, and Normandy regions.
The February 2011 renovation created the Buc Gate, a southern entrance linking the Chantier district with urban bus connections.
