Pfarrkirche Hötting, Catholic parish church in Hötting district, Innsbruck, Austria.
Pfarrkirche Hötting is a parish church in the Hötting district of Innsbruck with three aisles and neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic design elements. The tower on its eastern side, topped with a spire, rises prominently above the surrounding buildings.
A church at this location was first mentioned in 1286, but the present building was constructed between 1909 and 1911. The construction became possible when a brewery owner donated the necessary land for the new structure.
The interior is marked by stained glass windows created by local artists depicting religious scenes and themes. These windows and the ornate high altar shape the appearance and character of the church space today.
The church is located in the Hötting neighborhood and can be easily reached on foot, with good access by public transport. The adjacent cemetery has been in use since 1893, offering space for both traditional burials and urn interments.
The entrance portal features an ornate mosaic depicting saints and is crowned by a decorative rose window above it. This artistic treatment of the entry area often goes unnoticed by visitors at first glance.
