Schloss Zell an der Pram, Castle in Zell an der Pram, Austria
Schloss Zell an der Pram is a three-story building with classical architectural details located in the Innviertel region. The property features extensive gardens and accommodates around 107 guests in furnished rooms equipped with shared bathrooms and modern amenities.
The current structure was completed in 1774 by architect Franz de Cuvilliés the Younger, replacing an earlier water fortress that stood on the left bank of the Pram River. This new building represented a shift toward a residential castle with baroque and classical design elements.
The castle serves as a music education center where courses, workshops, and concert performances happen regularly throughout the year. It has become a gathering place for musicians and students seeking specialized instruction.
The castle provides rooms with linens, towels, television, and wireless internet for comfortable stays. Seven seminar rooms equipped with modern technology are available, and a restaurant area serves buffet-style meals with options for different dietary preferences.
The castle hosts various music events throughout the year, making it a center for both contemporary and classical performances. These concert series draw music enthusiasts from across the region.
