Church of the Holy Trinity in Zasvir

This stone church stands 61 meters tall with three naves, featuring narrow lancet windows and multi-stage buttresses that extend into the upper sections.

The Church of the Holy Trinity originated in 1714 as part of a Carmelite monastery, which authorities closed in 1830 following support of an uprising.

The interior contains detailed wooden carvings and numerous crosses, reflecting the traditional elements found throughout Lithuanian religious buildings.

Visitors can explore both the main church building and the surrounding park, which contains a small gate chapel and remains of monastery structures.

The church grounds include a maintained burial site for German soldiers from World War I, marked by a monument with three crosses.
