Beyeler Foundation, Art museum in Riehen, Switzerland

The Fondation Beyeler showcases modern and contemporary art in a building designed by architect Renzo Piano, featuring large glass walls overlooking surrounding fields.

Ernst and Hildy Beyeler established the foundation in 1982, leading to the museum's construction in 1994 and its official opening on October 18, 1997.

The museum exhibits 140 modern classics from artists including Picasso, Monet, Cézanne, and van Gogh, alongside traditional tribal art objects from various cultures.

The museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 to 18:00 with extended hours until 20:00 on Wednesdays, offering complete wheelchair accessibility throughout the facility.

A 5-kilometer trail called Rehberger-Weg connects the Fondation Beyeler to Vitra Campus, allowing visitors to explore natural and cultural landscapes between locations.
