Welcome to the Longyuan Kou Bridge, located in Longyuan Kou Village, Longyuan Kou Town, Yongxin County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, China. This bridge was designated as a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangxi Province in 1958. In 2006, when the sixth batch of national key cultural relic protection units was announced, the Seven Creek Ridge Battle Command Post and the Longyuan Kou Bridge were included in the first batch of national key cultural relic protection units under the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Site. The Longyuan Kou Bridge is a single-hole semi-circular stone arch bridge built in the seventeenth year of the Qing Dynasty (1837). It is 33 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and 9.2 meters high. On both sides of the bridgehead, there are two iron pillars, each 1 meter high and 0.2 meters in diameter, with the words "built in the seventeenth year of the Qing Dynasty" cast on them. The Longyuan Kou Battle (also known as the Longyuan Kou Victory) took place around this area on June 23, 1928. The front of the second set of three-yuan paper currency features this bridge as its pattern. To fully appreciate the historical and cultural significance of the Longyuan Kou Bridge, we recommend taking a guided tour. Here's what you can expect: First, you will be greeted by your knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who will provide you with an overview of the history and significance of the Longyuan Kou Bridge.
