The Thomas-Dehler-Haus stands as a multi-story office structure on Willy-Brandt-Allee 20, featuring functional architecture and large windows across its facade.
From 1993 to 1999, this building served as the national headquarters for Germany's Free Democratic Party before the government relocated to Berlin.
The building bears the name of Thomas Dehler, who led the Free Democratic Party from 1954 to 1957 and shaped German liberal politics.
The structure maintains its function as an office building and currently houses the International Renewable Energy Agency's Innovation and Technology Center.
Following an architectural competition in 1988, design firm Geller + Müller created the winning concept for this political headquarters.
