The stone remains of Leinburg Castle stand at 307 meters above sea level, overlooking the surrounding vineyards of Kleingartach in Baden-Württemberg.
The Lords of Leinburg constructed this hilltop fortification around 1200, which later passed through multiple owners including the Margrave of Baden and the House of Württemberg.
The castle site now houses a restaurant establishment that serves as a gathering place for local events and celebrations in the Heilbronn district.
The castle location provides direct access to hiking trails within the northeastern section of the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park.
The castle grounds underwent recent ownership changes, with new proprietors Eva and Oliver Kohler transforming the space for future community activities.
