Christiansborg Palace, Royal palace and government building in Slotsholmen, Denmark.

Christiansborg Palace functions as the headquarters of Denmark's parliament, supreme court, and prime minister's office in central Copenhagen, spanning multiple floors and wings.

The current structure, completed in 1928, represents the third palace built on this location after two previous buildings were destroyed by fires in 1794 and 1884.

The Royal Reception Rooms display tapestries depicting 1000 years of Danish history, commissioned for Queen Margrethe II's 50th birthday in 1990.

Visitors can explore the palace's state rooms, royal kitchen, ancient ruins, and stables through guided tours available from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 AM and 5 PM.

This palace stands as the sole building worldwide that contains all three government branches - executive, legislative, and judicial - under one roof.
