Men at Sea, Monumental sculpture at Sædding Beach, Denmark
Four white concrete giants, standing nine meters tall, face the North Sea in a hieratic posture on the Danish coastline.
Danish sculptor Svend Wiig Hansen designed this artistic installation, which was officially unveiled on October 28, 1995.
The monumental work draws inspiration from Easter Island statues to symbolize the relationship between humanity and the ocean.
Visitors can reach the sculpture via the road to Hjerting, with early morning offering optimal photography conditions.
The sculptures' robot-like heads create a distinct contrast against the industrial zone of the surrounding area.
