Krengerup, Neoclassical manor house near Glamsbjerg, Denmark.
Krengerup is a manor house in western Funen with a white main building featuring symmetrical architecture and agricultural structures topped with thatched roofs. The estate houses a Flax Weaving Museum and an automobile museum, showcasing two distinct collections within its grounds.
The manor was originally established in 1514 and gained a half-timbered thatched building in 1590 before the present structure was constructed between 1772 and 1783. The property was temporarily named Frederikslund before reverting to its original name in 1917.
The property maintains two exhibition spaces: the Flax Weaving Museum presenting local textile heritage and the Škoda Museum displaying automotive history outside Czech Republic.
The grounds are open year-round for visitors to explore the estate and its collections during regular hours. The site provides access to both museums and the surrounding grounds for a full visit.
The estate houses one of the few automobile museums dedicated to Škoda outside of the Czech Republic with an impressive collection of vehicles. This surprising pairing of European automotive history with a rural Danish property creates an unexpected destination.
