Christinero

Christinero is a monument and forest site near Kolding featuring limestone walls and thoughtfully arranged vegetation. The location combines architectural structures with the surrounding woodland in a deliberately designed layout.

The site was founded in 1746 and named after Countess Christina Friis, who created this enclosed garden space. She followed French architectural principles that were fashionable among European landowners at the time.

Access to the monument and forest paths is through a main entrance approximately 500 meters from the nearest parking area. The paths remain open year-round and navigation is straightforward for most visitors.
