Farumgård, Manor house in Farum, Denmark.
Farumgård features three wings constructed in a Rococo architectural style, situated on the banks of Farum Lake in Furesø Municipality.
The estate dates back to 1370 when it operated as a farm under the Bishop Seat in Roskilde, later becoming Crown property during the Reformation.
The building represents Danish aristocratic architecture with its symmetrical design and formal gardens that reflect early 18th-century architectural principles.
The manor house stands within a 6-hectare park that underwent restoration to its Baroque design between 1913 and 1932 by Elisabeth Mozart Jensen.
The German St. Ursula Sisters utilized the manor as a recovery home from 1932 until 1960, marking an unexpected chapter in its long history.
