Heering House features refined architectural elements from 1785, including a sculpted cow's claw on the keystone above the central gateway.
The property, initially listed as No. 60 in Christianshavn Quarter, belonged to Peter Frederik Suhm Heering from 1838 to 1875.
The Bank and Saving Museum within Heering House contains an authentic bank branch from 1900 and numerous historical banking artifacts.
The building now serves as headquarters for the Nordea Foundation and provides accommodation for international researchers visiting Copenhagen.
This structure maintained its connection to the Heering family for four generations until 1977, during which time it produced Cherry Heering liqueur.
