Kokkedal Slot

Kokkedal Slot is a white-painted castle on landscaped grounds with an 18-hole golf course that functions as a luxury hotel with 62 rooms. The rooms are furnished in period style and the property includes six conference rooms with modern equipment.

The building was originally constructed in 1746 as a tenant farm under Hirschholm Palace. Queen Sophie Magdalene later transferred the estate to German Count Christian August von Berckentin.

The castle restaurant in the cellar serves seasonal Danish cuisine made with ingredients from local suppliers across the region. The kitchen reflects rural traditions and a connection to the surrounding countryside.

The hotel offers complimentary parking on the grounds and includes a wellness center with spa treatments. Visitors should note that the estate is quite large, so comfortable shoes are helpful for exploring the different areas.
