Sommerland Sjælland

Sommerland Sjælland is an amusement park spread across spacious grounds featuring more than 60 rides, including water attractions and thrill rides for visitors of all ages. The Blue Lagoon section provides water park experiences with slides and pools designed for seasonal enjoyment.

The park opened in 1985 as a major entertainment center in the Odsherred region. It has grown since then with gradual expansions that shaped it into the multi-faceted venue it is today.

Danish design touches appear throughout the rides and attractions, and the MiniLegeland section introduces children to how Nordic play traditions are expressed through modern entertainment.

The water park section operates seasonally from May through September, while the main park offers food venues and rest areas throughout the year for visitor comfort. Plan your visit according to which attractions matter most to you, as the full experience depends on the season.

Silver City offers visitors a chance to try gold panning activities and experience simulated mining in a playful way that feels interactive and hands-on. The Sommer Cinema adds another memorable element with synchronized water, smoke, and foam effects that make the experience more immersive.
