Ristna Lighthouse, Maritime lighthouse in Kalana, Estonia.
The metal structure stands 30 meters tall on the northern cape of Ristna, guiding ships through frequent fog conditions near the western Estonian coast point.
Built in 1874 with components manufactured in France, the lighthouse suffered damage during World War I from German ships and underwent repairs in the 1920s.
The lighthouse complex includes preserved 19th-century service buildings and a copper bell weighing seven poods that signaled approaching vessels in low visibility conditions.
Visitors can access the lighthouse from July through September, Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with winter visits requiring advance arrangements.
The lighthouse incorporates a Global Navigation System station since 1994, enhancing its maritime safety capabilities while maintaining its historical navigation functions.
