Church of St. Simeon and the Prophetess Hanna

The wooden structure combines traditional Orthodox architectural elements with a bell tower accessible through the front hall of the building.

Built between 1752 and 1755 by Russian mariners, this church became the fourth Orthodox religious building in Tallinn after the Great Northern War.

The church contains a collection of religious textiles displayed in its museum section, representing centuries of Orthodox religious traditions.

Located at Paadi Street 2, the church museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday to Friday between 11:00 and 17:00, with different hours during weekends.

The foundation of the church incorporates materials from sunken ships, as the original construction site stood near the waterline of Tallinn's coast.
