KV7, Tomb in the Valley of the Kings, Egypt
KV7 is the tomb of ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Ramesses II located in the Valley of the Kings.
The tomb was opened and used as a dwelling by Coptic monks from the 7th century.
The tomb's design represents a transition to the more standardized royal tombs of the late New Kingdom.
Today, KV7 is open to the public, although it has suffered extensive damage due to flooding.
Despite its poor condition, KV7 provides unique insights into the burial practices of the 19th Dynasty.
