Porticus Argonautarum, Ancient structure in Rome
The Porticus Argonautarum was a large portico located on the Campus Martius in ancient Rome.
This portico was named after the legendary Argonauts, heroes who accompanied Jason to Colchis.
The area served as a vital center for literary and educational activities in Roman times.
Reconstruction plans can be found but the original structure no longer exists.
Famous for displaying the paintings of the Argonaut saga.
