永光寺

Eikoji Temple in Koga is a Buddhist complex with multiple traditional Japanese buildings arranged across spacious grounds dedicated to religious practice and meditation. Each spring from April through May the grounds burst with large peony blooms, plum blossoms, cherry flowers, and azaleas planted throughout different sections. This seasonal transformation draws visitors specifically seeking the natural beauty rather than the religious aspects alone.
