Fukiage Palace, Royal palace in Japan.
The Fukiage Palace, designed by architect Shozo Uchii, is a gosho and royal palace located in Chiyoda, Japan.
Though now modernly designed, the Fukiage Palace has roots reaching back to the Meiji era.
As one of Japan's few remaining palaces, it represents an important aspect of Japanese architectural culture.
Unfortunately, like many Japanese gosho, Fukiage Palace isn't open to public viewing but may be admired from afar.
Fukiage Palace stands out being one of the principal residences of the Emperor of Japan.
