Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Kalviai

The Church of St. Anthony of Padua features a circular design with red granite walls and a central cupola topped by a window-lantern.

The construction of this stone church occurred between 1800 and 1806, replacing a wooden structure that burned down in the previous decade.

The church interior contains six Doric columns supporting the organ chorus, along with wooden neo-gothic and neo-baroque altars from the early 1900s.

This religious building represents one of only two circular-shaped sanctuaries in Lithuania, reflecting architectural influences from Roman rotundas.
