Diktariškiai Manor, Manor house in Radviliškis District Municipality, Lithuania
Diktariškiai Manor is a classicist manor house in Radviliškis District Municipality that displays balanced proportions and symmetrical design features typical of early 20th-century Lithuanian estates. The building retains the traditional architectural language of regional manor houses from this period.
The manor was owned by the Šemeta family across multiple generations, with Tadeušas Šemeta serving as noble marshal of Šiauliai district in 1820. Following the January Uprising of 1863, the family lost possession through confiscation and exile.
Pranciškus Šemeta, educated at Vilnius University and member of Filaretai Society, participated in organizing the November Uprising of 1831.
The manor is located in the Radviliškis area and visible from the surroundings, with access arrangements handled through local municipality contact. Visitors are advised to check in advance about visiting possibilities.
Juozapas Šemeta was exiled to Ufa following the 1863 uprising, resulting in confiscation of family property and ownership transfers. This episode reflects the severe consequences faced by families connected to the rebellion.
