The Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God monastery stands 5 kilometers from Lake Prespa, featuring traditional Macedonian religious architecture.
The monastery construction dates to 1607, with subsequent additions of a nartex in 1612 and new fresco paintings applied in 1645.
The monastery preserves an authentic wooden iconostasis with throne icons, royal doors, and a carved Holy Cross representing Orthodox craftsmanship.
Visitors need to obtain a key from the local store in Slivnica village before accessing the monastery grounds and interior spaces.
A spring near the monastery contains water believed to possess healing properties, particularly associated with fertility enhancement.
